Welcome to the website of the Student Council Initiative Chemistry and Biochemistry at Ludwig Maximilian University of Munich. Here you can find information about us, what we do, events, information for first-year students, the orientation program, for teaching degree students, and FAQs.

The Student Council represents the students of the Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry and consists of students who want to get involved alongside their studies. By participating in various committees, we have the opportunity to take part in decisions concerning, for example, the department, degree programs, or the allocation of study grant funds. 

We are always happy to see new faces! Feel free to join one of our meetings. 

For Freshers:

Dear freshers, we are very excited to welcome you soon at the Großhadern campus! If you would like to read up on some information in advance, you can find it here on this website, as well as on the faculty’s website. You will also receive further details in your fresher’s letter, which will arrive at the end of September or beginning of October.
