Lecture Notes / Scripts

• We offer printed lecture notes for Math 1 & 2, OC1, and Spectro 2 (NMR and mass spectrometry) free of charge.

Lab Coat and Safety Goggles Rental

• In case of an emergency, you can borrow lab coats and safety goggles from us if you have misplaced or damaged yours.

  • Please bring your student ID as a deposit.

Lab Coat and Safety Goggles Sale

• We sell various safety goggles (also fit over prescription glasses) and lab coats in different sizes.

  • Fitting is possible.

Glassware Sale (subject to stock)

• If something breaks in the lab, feel free to ask us if we have the corresponding glassware in stock.

  • Otherwise: Sale via Mr. Hartmann in the basement.

Speaker & Sound System Rental

• If you are missing a speaker for your hall party, you can borrow a Bluetooth speaker (€5 rental fee, €50 deposit), a sound system (€30 rental fee, €200 deposit), and a Bluetooth adapter (€30 deposit) from us.

  • You will get your deposit back when you return the borrowed equipment completely (!) to the student council.

Exam Protocols (Master)

• For your module exams, you can borrow exam memory protocols from your examiners for a €10 deposit.

  • If you write your own exam protocol and bring it back, you will receive your deposit back plus a free drink/snack.

Sale of Textbooks and Molecular Model Kits

• We sell molecular model kits and some used textbooks.

Menstrual Products

• In the women's restrooms next to the student council room and in the basement of Building F, the student council has installed dispensers for free menstrual products.

  • If they are empty, please let us know!

Barbecue and Mulled Wine Maker Rental

• For research group celebrations, we lend out a barbecue grill and a mulled wine maker.

• Important: During the Christmas season, we need the mulled wine makers for various events, so please request them early and return them cleaned! 

Tutoring Matchmaking

• If you are having trouble with a specific subject, we can connect you with a student for peer tutoring. 

LaTeX Course

• During the winter semester break, we offer a free basic LaTeX course.
